Drumming Up Support for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

The Battalion has partnered with Ace Hardware and Children's Miracle Network to raise funds for children in need of life-saving medical care. On August 4 and 5, Ace Hardware will host Miracle Bucket Days, the company’s signature fundraising event for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

During these two days, customers can visit a participating Ace Hardware location and get their very own 5-gallon Miracle Bucket for a $5 donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in their area. Ace has sweetened the deal by offering a 20 percent discount on almost anything a customer can fit in the bucket.

In an effort to “drum up” support for the fundraiser, alumni and current members of The Battalion percussion section turned Miracle Buckets into drums for a promotional video. Check out the video below!

Since becoming a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals partner in 1991, Ace Hardware has raised more than $64 million for local Children’ s Miracle Network Hospitals across the country. This success stems from the creative fundraising efforts of the Ace Hardware Foundation and the generous contributions of Ace retailers, Ace customers, vendor partners and Ace team members.
