Position Title: Food Services Manager

Reports to: Corps Director

Job Summary:  The Food Services Manager leads the food services team in meal planning, shopping, preparation, serving, and clean-up of meals during all camps.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan Menus for clinics within budget of $2.50 per person for proper nutrition of corps members (lots of menu options from previous seasons)

  • Submit list of equipment needed from Bunker to equipment manager prior to the clinic

  • Shop with assistants for food and other supplies needed for the meals

  • Oversee preparation,delivery, and clean up according to the daily schedule

  • Manage food services specialists

  • Note any changes or tips for the next time the meal is prepared

  • Maintain tax-exempt membership in shopping clubs such as Sam’s Club, Costco, etc. in order to purchase food and supplies in bulk
