Lizzy Taylor is currently a visual instructor at Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps. In addition to working with the corps program, Lizzy teaches Social Studies and is a Visual and Woodwind instructor at Mountain Ridge High School. Lizzy has been involved in the marching arts since 2010.

Lizzy's performance experience began in an elementary band. She quickly grew a love for all things music and sought every opportunity to further her passion. Lizzy graduated from Westlake High School, UT after marching five years in their program. She attended Utah State University where she participated in the band programs there. In 2015, Lizzy began instructing high school marching bands. She has worked with many programs that have gone on to receive numerous awards as well as compete in BOA Regional and BOA Super Regional Competitions.

Outside of Marching Band, Lizzy gained an associates degree from Utah State University and received her bachelor's in Social Studies Secondary Education with a minor in Latin American Studies from Utah Valley University. Lizzy has a passion for learning and loves to create cross-content curriculum to help individuals become excited about education.

Lizzy has been married to her husband Austin for 3 years. Outside of teaching, Lizzy loves paddle boarding, spending time with family, feeding baby ducks, and playing board games.
