SAM TIEMEYER - BRASS CAPTION HEAD

Sam Tiemeyer returns in 2024 as Brass Caption Head. Prior to joining The Battalion's brass staff, Sam served as Brass Caption Head at Legends Drum & Bugle Corps. His performance experience includes 5 years on mellophone with Legends, 4 years with marching and concert ensembles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. When he's not in front of a hornline, Sam performs and teaches in the Chicago area while working in IT and data analysis at the Humane Society - helping shelter animals better find forever homes.
