JOSH JENSEN - STUDENT LEADERSHIP DIRECTOR

Josh Jensen has been a member of The Battalions staff since 2016, serving as the Visual Caption Head from 2017 - 2022. His first exposure to the marching arts was in 2007 as a member of the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps from Casper, Wyoming. He performed with The Troopers for five years until his age out in 2011. During that time he served in various leadership positions and was a member of the corps in 2009, placing 12th in DCI finals. In 2011 he aged out as the head drum major.

 

Since 2010, Josh has been involved with marching ensembles across the Rocky Mountain region. In that time he has worked for multiple schools and independent groups as both a musical and visual instructor. Currently, Josh is the visual coordinator for and North Star Independent Percussion.

 

An alumni of Snow College, Josh is a graduate of Horne School of Music. He holds a Bachelors of Music with an emphasis in Commercial Music and is pursuing his teaching certification through Weber State University.

 

Josh is excited to be back with The Battalion again this season. He is humbled to continue working with such an amazing group of students, staff, and administrators, and cannot wait to show the world what The Battalion has to offer in 2019.
