Emily began her marching experience in Utah from 2009-2012 with the Bingham High School Marching Miner Band and Bingham Winter Guard, placing first overall in state her senior year and serving as flag captain for two years. After graduation, Emily performed with Wasatch Independent Open Guard from 2013 through 2017 while teaching award winning winter guard groups at Westlake High School two years consecutively. She has taught as a flag and dance clinician in a number of events throughout Utah.


In the fall of 2015, Emily founded the first color guard program as director at Juan Diego Catholic High School where she continues teaching. She resides in South Jordan, UT after completing her Bachelors in Biotechnology at Utah Valley University. Working with individuals in the world of color guard has become her favorite craft, and she always looks forward to helping individuals grow in the performing art.
