ALYSSA MCCOLLUM - CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Alyssa McCollum serves The Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps as the Chief Operations Officer.  Alyssa was in the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble from 2003 to 2006. She was also in the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps from 2003 to 2008. 

 

Alyssa graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in music education.  She studied percussion under Dr. Eric Hollenbeck at CSU, and with Pat Amman, Mike Nevin, Dan Darrah, and Jeff Ausdemore during her time with the Blue Knights.

 

Alyssa has been involved in teaching several successful winter percussion ensembles in Utah and Colorado.  She currently teaches orchestra at Legend High School in Colorado.

Alyssa was an administrative assistant at Ascend Performing Arts, the umbrella organization for the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps and Percussion Ensemble. She served as the Percussion Ensemble Manager for the 2017 season. 

 

Alyssa is the proud mom of a fun little boy, and when she isn't working on Battalion items she is crocheting or spending time with her family. Alyssa is grateful to be able to serve the members, staff, and amazing volunteers of The Battalion.
