ALEX ENTIN - BATTERY CAPTION HEAD, ARRANGER
Alex Entin is a drum corps veteran who participated as a marching member and a staff member at both the Blue Knights and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. His extensive knowledge of the marching arts includes many years of experience on staff and as a member with multiple Colorado high school winter percussion ensembles as well as the Independent World Class Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble. Alex has proudly been with the Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps since it’s Inaugural Camp in November 2014.
Alex Entin received his Bachelors degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado under the instruction of Professor Gray Barrier. His classical training on piano and percussion has taken him around the world touring and performing with prestigious ensembles. Alex performed with the top Wind Ensembles, Orchestras and Percussion Ensembles during his studies at UNC. He also received instruction from percussion teachers: Jim White, Jim Casella, Mike Nevin, Pat Amann, Ward Durrett, Brett Montgomery, Jim Ancona, Ray Ulibarri, and many more great teachers from around the world.
Mr. Entin is the Percussion Director at Lawrence Township North High School in Indianapolis, Indiana where he instructs with a world class staff the Marching Pride of Lawrence Township and the Lawrence Township Winter Percussion. His wife Savannah also teaches music and together they raise their two children Mason and Emily.
