Sam Tiemeyer

Sam Tiemeyer is a horn player and music educator based out of Chicago Illinois. Sam spent his DCI marching career at Legends from 2015 to 2019. After aging out, he returned on staff there until 2022 where he served as the Brass Caption Head in their final season. Sam has been a member of the Battalion Brass Staff since 2023 and is going into his second year as Caption Head. Outside of Drum Corps, he also instructs the Romeoville High School Marching Spartans and Pi Indoor Percussion. Sam is an avid (while often sad) Bulls, Bears, and University of Illinois Athletics fan and spends a lot of time with his golden lab ‘CC’.
