Nat Harward

BOARD MEMBER

Nat's drum corps journey began when he and junior high band mates stumbled upon DCI clips on Napster in the early 2000s. An Ohio native, Nat marched tenors with Marion Glory Cadets in 2004 and on the BYU drumline that fall. There he met future Battalion cofounders Luke and Dallin. At BYU, he studied communications, business and economics, and was a student body officer and drummer in a local rock band.

Nat brings more than a decade of experience growing and managing small businesses and nonprofits. Prior to joining The Battalion Board, Nat was heavily involved in Utah's triathlon community -- founding and leading the boards of BAM Juniors and Intermountain Multisport, organizations supporting competitive youth and amateur adult athletes. He managed Balanced Art Multisport, a triathlon coaching business, from 2018-2022 and founded and produced Wasatch Triathlon and Super Sprint Weekend, two Olympic-pathway races in Utah.

Now based in Salt Lake City, UT, Nat is a product manager in the software and technology industry. He's completed 46 triathlons and over 100 cycling and running events and spends winters skiing Utah's resorts and backcountry. A Battalion supporter from day one, Nat is thrilled to return to his musical roots and give back to the arts community.
