Laura Lounsbury
BOARD MEMBER
Laura joined The Battalion in 2016 and later served on its administrative staff from 2017 to 2021 and again in 2023. Originally from Arlington, Virginia, she began her involvement in the marching arts at Yorktown High School as a member of the front ensemble and later performed with the George Mason University Indoor Drumline from 2014 to 2017.
Professionally, Laura works in operations at UDR, supporting the Mid-Atlantic region. In addition to her professional career, she manages A/V for her church and she previously taught front ensembles throughout Northern Virginia and Utah.
Laura currently resides in Sterling, Virginia with her husband, Andres. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, needlepointing, and spending time with family.
