SYDNEY BROWN - BRASS INSTRUCTOR

Sydney is currently a music education student at Colorado State University. While attending CSU she has had the opportunity to play in premiere ensembles such as the CSU Symphony Orchestra and the Wind Symphony. As a member of the CSU trumpet studio, Sydney has studied with Caleb Hudson of the Canadian Brass and Dr. Stanley Curtis.

Sydney also has been involved with Drum Corps International for a total of four years as a performer with both the Blue Knights and the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps. She also played at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Bahrain with the Blue Knights Bahrain Ensemble in 2017. Sydney aged out with the Bluecoats in 2018 and received a bronze medal at the DCI World Championship Finals.

Sydney’s love for music began at a young age and she is grateful that she gets to share her passion with others as a music educator. Sydney is currently the Visual Caption Head for the Loveland High School Marching Band in Loveland, Colorado and is excited to be a part of the Battalion team.
