Jessica Slabaugh is originally from Golden, Colorado but now lives in the Salt Lake City area. She has been working as a color guard director in public education for over 10 years. Currently, Jessica is the color guard director at American Fork High School. Over the past four years, American Fork has won several awards including; BOA regional Champions (including a sweep of all Caption awards), 5A state championships, and 2013-2015 Color Guard State Championship in Scholastic Open Class.

Jessica has also taught at: Air Academy High School, Bingham High School, Bear Creek High School, Legacy High School, and Wheat Ridge High School. Jessica’s ensemble has been awarded several state championships in 5a Marching Band Competition. Legacy and American Fork high School had the honor of performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (2011 and 2014) under the color guard direction of Jessica Slabaugh. She has also been an active member of Winter Guard International (WGI) hosting the Denver Regional at Legacy High School. Jessica was a member of several color guards and dance ensemble: performing with Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, Oracle Dance Ensemble, Alchemy Winter Guard, Nova Winter Guard, and Signature Winter Guard.
