DREW REITINGER - BATTERY INSTRUCTOR

Drew began his marching career at Air Academy High School where he played quads for three of his four years. He then joined the Blue Knights Drum Corps as part of the quad line in 2009, 2010, and finished in 2012 on snare. During this time, he also marched in the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble for a sequential three years, starting in 2010. While attending CU and majoring in music, Drew participated in the CU Boulder drum line playing both quads and snare. Drew received his BA in Music with an emphasis in percussion at the University of Colorado at Boulder and is now teaching music at Soaring Eagles Elementary down South in Colorado Springs. Aside from his full time job as a music teacher, he teaches a variety of musical lessons to students ranging from elementary through high school. During the last several years, he has served as Assistant Percussion Director at Chaparral High School in Denver, Percussion Caption Head at Rampart High School in Colorado Springs, and quad technician for Rise Percussion.
